Camel Riding Morocco through the Saharan sand dunes sets the scene for an authentic Arabian adventure that includes a camel trek through the sand dunes to a secluded oasis, a nomad Berber family, and authentic spicy Berber food cooked over an open fire by nomad camp.
This Camel Trekking Tours Morocco for 3Days/2Nights in the desert starts in the evening, and we depart from our hotel near the sand dunes to begin our camel trek for two nights in the desert. You’ll meet and have lunch with a Berber nomad family near the highest sand dunes during this trek. The hike will begin in the middle of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes (Merzouga desert). This is an opportunity to photograph the sunset and sunrise in the sand dunes; when we arrive at the camp, we will dismount and board the camels, then walk to the highest dunes to watch the sunset and sandboard in the dunes; at the camp, there will be a delicious Berber dinner and drums music around a fire in the middle of the Sahara desert, We will spend the night in nomad tents on a magical night when the sky is bright and starry.
On the second day of camel trekking, we will wake you up early in the morning to see the sunrise, then we will start riding camels to visit and have lunch with a nomad family, then we will ride the camels back to the camp, where we will leave the camels and walk through the dunes to visit Merzouga Oasis. We will ride the camel back to Merzouga the next morning (3rd day) after the sunrise, and you will have breakfast and shower in our hotel. Our three-day camel trek begins at 9 a.m. in Mhamid with your guides, the Sahrawi nomads. They will accompany you on your Sahara desert trip; the first stop for lunch will be in the shade of a palm grove, followed by a meal break, and then a two-hour walk to the Lahniti dunes, where we will set up camp. Enjoy the desert calm as you enjoy the sunset and the stars.
After breakfast on the second day, our 3-day camel trek departs for a new day of walking. The afternoon will be spent on a picnic, and the evening will be spent overnight camping. You will set up camp (the guide will take care of everything), and if you want to ride a small camel, you can do so just before sunset.
